# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It comes together in 10 minutes flat, which means you can make it while guests are arriving instead of being stuck in the kitchen.
  • The flavor deepens as it sits, so you can prepare it hours ahead and let time do the work for you.
02 -
  • If you add sparkling water to the pitcher more than 15 minutes before serving, the drink loses its pleasant fizz—pour it in just before the first glass goes out.
  • Taste the juice mixture before adding any sweetener, because good-quality juices already carry enough natural sweetness that you might not need any at all.
03 -
  • Chill all your juices and sparkling water beforehand so the final drink is cold without needing excessive ice that dilutes the flavor.
  • The mint stays fresher and more vibrant if you add it fresh right before serving instead of letting it soak in the pitcher for hours.
